This very graphic furniture is part of our A-series designed by Frederic Collette for children 3-10 years old. The A-series is built up around the inclined sides of the letter A.
These angles give stability, so that children cannot easily tilt the furniture. But these angles also enable A CHAIR to be stacked in an elegant way. At the same time, this gives room for a drawer below the seat, where children can put toys and things. The stacked chairs form a practical chest of drawers. Furthermore, the drawers are equipped with magnets, so that they do not open while moving A CHAIR.
A CHAIR fits perfectly together with A TABLE and these were nominated as a set for the Formland design price in 2006.

Test & quality
A-Chair is designed for private use and has been tested for strength, durability and stability according to EN1728:2000. The material, lacquer and paint have also been tested according to the chemical requirements in EN71-3 'Safety of toys - Part 3: Migration of certain elements'.
- ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Element overview.
Step 2
Insert screws, dowels and cylinders. Orient cylinders with arrow towards the edges.
Step 3
Assemble back plate and bottom plate. Fix them together by screwing the 2 cylinders.
Step 4
Assemble first leg plate. Fix the leg plate by screwing the 3 cylinders.
Step 5
Assemble the other leg plate. Fix the leg plate by screwing the 3 cylinders.
Step 6
Place the drawer, then position and press down the seat plate. Fix the seat plate with the 4 screws. A Chair is assembled!
