    This very graphic piece of furniture is part of our A-series designed by Frederic Collette for children 3-10 years old.

    A TABLE is designed for 2 children sitting opposite each other and has 6 drawers (3 on each side) for paper, pencils, crayons and stuff. A TABLE fits perfectly together with A CHAIR and these were nominated as a set for the Formland design price in 2006.

    The upcoming member of our A-series, HANG A TABLE, will be available summer 2010. HANG A TABLE is designed for 1 child and is basically A TABLE cut in half . Just like A TABLE, HANG A TABLE has 3 drawers on its front, while its back side is suspended directly onto the wall, which makes it very suitable for small rooms. Pictures of HANG A TABLE are coming soon.

    Test & quality

    A-Table is designed for private use and has been tested for strength, durability and stability according to EN1730:2001. Furthermore, material, lacquer and paint are tested according to the chemical requirements in EN71-3 'Safety of toys - Part 3: Migration of certain elements'.

Remove all the drawers by lifting the drawer lock.

Assemble the central stiffener: Insert screws and cylinders. Orient cylinders with arrow towards the edges. Position and press the central stiffener in place. Do NOT fix cylinders yet.

Assemble first leg: Insert screws, dowels and cylinders. Orient cylinders towards the edges. Position the leg plate into the screws and dowels, lift the central stiffener, assemble stiffener and leg plate before pressing them down together onto the table top. Screw all 3 cylinders fixing the leg plate. Do NOT fix the 3 central stiffener cylinders yet.

Assemble other leg: Insert screws, dowels and cylinders. Orient cylinders towards the edges. Position the leg plate into the screws and dowels, lift the central stiffener, assemble stiffener and leg plate before pressing them down together onto the table top. Screw all 3 cylinders fixing the leg plate.

Now screw the remaining 3 cylinders of the central stiffener to fix it to the table top. Fix the bottom plates to the leg plates with 8 screws.

Turn the table around and place the drawers back in place. A Table is assembled!
