The pictures show a solution using the very high ceilings to place a full sized bed (age 5-20 years or more) above the bedroom sliding door. A wardrobe and shelves are built-in below the bed and ladder, leaving plenty of floor space in the small bedroom for play and even for a desk and a chair.
